What do you need?

Topping - 10 slices bacon Cake - 100 gr butter - 100 gr dark chocolate - 2 eggs (egg yolks) - 75 gr sugar - 1/4 teaspoon salt - 60 gr flour Whipped cream - 100 ml whipped cream - 30 ml syrup Ice cream - Vanilla ice cream

Preparation method

Prep Simple. The prep is mainly that you have bought the ingredients and haven't already eaten the chocolate on the way home. Bake da Bacon Whether you are having this as a dessert or a snack, you need to get that BBQ going, and at 180°C. Place the cast-iron pan on the grill and fry the bacon strips until crispy. Remove the bacon strips from the pan and let them cool on kitchen paper. Then cut them into small pieces. Cake batter Warm the butter in the cast-iron pan and carefully melt the chocolate in it. Keep stirring passionately, because chocolate is materialised love and should be treated as such. Remove the pan from the heat when all the chocolate has melted. Beat the egg yolks, sugar and salt together in a bowl. Fold in the flour and finally add the chocolate mixture. Leave this magical mixture in the fridge for at least an hour. Cake Reheat the BBQ to 180 °C. Grease the baking tin with a little butter. Put your chocolate batter in a piping bag and pipe it into the baking tin. Bake the chocolate cake for 10 to 14 minutes. Use a skewer to check whether the cake is done. If you prick the cake with a skewer and the skewer is still wet ... too soon. It is almost impossible, but let the cake stand for a moment before removing it from the mould. Next, prepare the whipped cream. Sprinkle the bacon slices on the cake and present your creation together with whipped cream and ice cream as a divine dessert.
