Sometimes you feel like having a beer with something easy, not too much fuss but just simple and tasty. This recipe meets all the requirements. Spicy merquez sausages, aka Spicy Sausages on a baguette with jalapeƱo. This is the perfect opportunity to pour a glass of our very own The Bastard X Owl beer; Craftbeer Cookout West Coast IPA.
12 (spicy) merquez sausages
1 JalapeƱo pepper, sliced
½ jar of pickled green peppers
1 baguette, coarsely sliced
Start by The Bastard lighting and waiting for it to reach a temperature of 160 °C.
Next, place the merquez sausages on the heated grill and grill evenly on all sides, directly over the heat source, for about 5-6 minutes.
Serve by spreading a portion of pickles and a few slices of jalapeƱo over the plates, accompanied by pieces of baguette. Place the grilled sausages next to the side dishes on the plates.
