Sticky Apple Pie

While you are still enjoying your pieces of meat or fish, this delicious Sticky Apple Pie with rum and caramel is cooking at Bastard . Serve with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream and a glass of hot chocolate. Sounds good right? What do you need?

2 kg Jona Gold apples

Rum

150 grams sultanas mix

50 grams granulated sugar

1 gram ground cinnamon

75 grams of walnuts

200 ml caramel sauce

Vanilla ice cream

*Serve with a hot chocolate for the kids and a glass of rum for the adults

Stickey Apple Pie from The Bastard

Preparation method

Peel the apples and cut into chunks, soak the sultanas in rum so that they are covered.

Sprinkle the sugar, cinnamon, walnuts and vanilla over the apples and mix together.

Pour the mixture into a greased baking tin, together with the soaked sultanas and squeeze the liquid caramel over it. Put the baking tin in a Bastard with Plate Setter in between at 200°C and bake for about 25 to 30 minutes.

Put it on the table with a big ladle and a bowl of vanilla ice cream.
