Andrew Clark is an award-winning chef on the British culinary scene. With more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, both as a chef and restaurateur, he is best known for his previous restaurants in London, Brunswick House and St Leonards, and as co-founder of the mental health campaign Pilot Light.

His newest venture is Acme Fire Cult. Known for using the finest ingredients, Andrew goes above and beyond to find the highest quality local meat, fish and seasonal vegetables. His philosophy is, "If you eat meat, it should be of the best quality available." A familiar face at Meatopia and other open-fire events, Andrew curates the flavors of Glandstonbury - London's annual festival dedicated to organ meats. Although Andrew has built a reputation as an innovative meat and barbecue chef, he is always willing to challenge perceptions and is known for creating sophisticated dishes that highlight vegetables.

Andrew Clark is an experienced game picker and enjoys using wild products in his pursuit of groundbreaking culinary innovation. Acme Fire Cult, his latest venture, is his proudest achievement to date. Originating from the pandemic in a parking lot in Hackney - and now with a permanent location in Dalston - Acme was one of London's most notable openings in 2022, cooking everything over fire in its outdoor kitchen. The restaurant sets itself apart from other "barbecue" restaurants by emphasizing vegetables and focusing on reducing waste through innovative use of by-products.

In 2019, Andrew Clark proudly received the Innovation Award from the Craft Guild of Chefs, and later that year he was included in the Evening Standard's Progress 1000 list as one of the most influential Londoners of 2019/20.

In his spare time, Andrew works as a ceremonial space keeper and shamanic healer, using music and plant medicine.
